Due to close proximity with strong water currents in some particular coastlines, those beaches are not open to the public during some special times of the year. Coast guards are always a regular face in the Australian beaches always ready to plunge into activity when emergency crops up.
With the increase in the tourist flow throughout the year it is a tremendous task of keeping the Australian beaches clean and tidy. However this tedious job is undertaken by the beach authority and all measures are taken to keep the beaches clean and free from pollution. This sincerity has led to the consistent tourist traffic for the past so many years. Some of the Australian beaches are endowed with special area only for the children so that they can enjoy just like the adults do in the sea waves. With special facilities being made available for the children, the parents can simply laze around and enjoy the sunbath besides the cool waters comfortably. Several beaches have restaurants that offer mouth watering delicacies that are very much enjoyed by the tourists as well as the natives too.
